In her memoir we get a description of her parents divorce, her life after divorce, and her emotional and psychological reactions to it. Although it is interesting to be able to see the ways in which her parents divorce effected her in her life as she writes of all her struggles as an adult, for this project I will focus on the child’s perspective rather that an adults perspective of their own childhood.
