It is also one letter away from well, you know what I mean, which has also drawn a certain type of reaction from some friends of mine. This really caught my attention I’ve been up in Scotland and I was off to stay with a friend of mine and as I never like to show up to a house empty handed, I wanted to get some cheese. I popped into Taste Perthshire (just off the A9, worth a stop for the shop, deli & cafe) and had a look. Initially I was disappointed with the selection. But then I saw the cheese counter and straight away I saw it – “Minger”. Being the child I am, and knowing my friend would like the name alone, I picked it up, along with some Brie from the same company – the Highland Fine Cheese Co....
