Thursday, May 30, 2024 Subur industri judi di Malaysia Sebelum ini kita dengar syarikat operator nombor ramalan (NFO) iaitu Sports Toto Bhd melaporkan ia memperolehi keuntungan bersih sebanyak RM68.5 juta bagi tempoh suku ketiganya berakhir 31 Mac 2024. Walaupun empat buah negeri iaitu Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah dan Perlis tidak lagi memberi lesen premis bagi syarikat perjudian ini beroperasi atas alasan judi itu suatu kemungkaran besar, namun ia tetap mampu mencatat keuntungan dan memberi laba pada para pemegang sahamnya dalam operasinya di negeri-negeri lain. Terbaru menurut The Edge Malaysia (28 Mei 2024) sebuah lagi NFO iaitu Magnum Berhad pula melaporkan syarikatnya memperolehi keuntungan bersih RM25.99 juta bagi suku pertama 2024, iaitu kenaikkan 64.71% berbanding RM15.78 juta suku yang sama tahun lepas.
