nardi's home nardi's home Senin, 18 April 2011 pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) BAB I PENDAHULUAN 1.1 LATAR BELAKANG Dalam kemajuannya sistem pendidikan yang ada kita tidak bisa lagi mempertahankan paradigm lama yaitu guru merupakan pusat kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas ( teacher center ), perlu adanya metode pembelajaran baru yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa di kelas. Tetapi nampaknya masih banyak diterapkan di ruang – ruang kelas dengan alasan pembelajaran seperti ini adalah yang paling praktis dan tidak menyita waktu. Maka diperlukan metode yuang cocok agar siswa dapat berfikir kritis, logis, dan dapat memecahkan masalah dengan sifat terbuka, kreatif, dan inovatif. Dalam proses pembelajaran masih sering dijumpai adanya kecenderungan siswa yang tidak mau bertanya pada guru meskipun sebenarnya mereka belum mengerti tentang materi yang disampaikan.
