Oh the things we love! Oh the things we love! Random Ramblings Monday, October 11, 2010 A Lefty's Hardships My wrist is hurting from writing with a No. 2 graphite pencil. I can't find my gripped (with a pencil grip) Hello Kitty lead pencil at this moment. When you're left handed, it's so annoying to rest your hand when the notebook's bounds are on the left side. That got me thinking of things: the annoying ink, lead, and graphite marks; writing fling pains, and callouses formed throughout the years of writing and doing pointless, laborious school work. Everything is in favor of the right hand. You see it though the bounds and spirals in notebooks. Maybe our pencils also have something to them. I know scissors did. And damn it! Even our language's writing starts horizontally on the left side! Lefties have to adjust to a right handed person's writing comforts. Maybe I should pull a da Vinci and write backwards. You know, break some tradition for comfort. It's hard, because th...
