redemption(s):notes on the future Wednesday, November 05, 2008 Reflections on an Obscure Hope Today, of all days, I began what will be my first significant archivable contribution – however meager – to the store of human knowledge. Today, of all days, I put finger to keyboard and electronically inscribed text, some of which will – hopefully – make it to the final form of my doctoral dissertation. I find it worth registering and archiving this moment, this day, not in order to make any promises about the quality or importance of the work that I will – hopefully – one day complete.
