pitcherpost Wednesday, September 4, 2013 Olive's 1st birthday part 1. Olive's first birthday went smashingly! She was the perfect birthday baby, smiling, laughing, face planting in her cake - all that you imagine that first cake experience to be. In comparison, on my other girls' first birthday, Aubrey couldn't sit still long enough to be bothered to eat cake and Taylor didn't want to eat her birthday cake, she only wanted sweet potatoes! Oh how times have changed! If you ask Taylor what her favorite food is, she'll say frosting. I'm trying to train her to say "fresh fruits and vegetables" instead, if only to look good in front of her pediatrician :) My crazies! Let me explain! I told Taylor to give Olive a kiss, Olive must have spotted some frosting, and slurped Taylor's face when she leaned in. We were laughing and gagging at the same time!
