Peter Nickl Peter Nickl I am an incoming PhD researcher in computational neuroscience and AI at the lab of Alexandre Pouget in Geneva. From May 2021 I have been a research assistant at the Approximate Bayesian Inference Team , RIKEN Center for AI Project in Tokyo for 3 years, advised by Emtiyaz Khan and Thomas Moellenhoff . There, I have been working on understanding the sensitivity of machine learning models to data perturbation and on deep learning, with a focus on probabilistic methods. In 2021, I was part of the winning team of the NeurIPS challenge on Approximate Inference in Bayesian Deep Learning . In 2022, I helped organize the Continual Lifelong Learning Workshop at ACML. I have studied computational engineering, mechanical engineering and economics at TU Darmstadt .
