"Real ale", a term originally coined in the UK, is beer that is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and goes through a secondary fermentation in the cask (similar to a keg) where it naturally carbonates. You can also find import beers on nitro and draft at our pub. HAND PUMPED In lieu of your typical beer tap which adds additional carbonation, our cask-conditioned ales are hand-pumped using English beer engines that were imported from the UK.
