Home Purnamrita Sarkar Home Research Teaching About Me I am an associate professor of Statistics at the University of Texas at Austin . My interests are in the intersection of asymptotic statistics, scalable algorithms and networks. Recently I have been interested in uncertainty estimation for streaming algorithms and resampling methods for networks. I am affiliated with the AI institute and EnCORE: Institute for Emerging CORE Methods of Data Science . My email address is purna.sarkar@austin.utexas.edu. Previously I was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, where I worked on asymptotic theory for network models and the nonparametric bootstrap for big data.
