Νικολαίδης Ένα από τα βιβλία που διάβασα φέτος το καλοκαίρι είναι αυτό του Νίκου Μαραντζίδη για τον Δημοκρατικό Στρατό Ελλάδας (ΔΣΕ). Ο συγγραφέας – καθηγητής Πανεπιστημίου, περιγράφει και αναλύει την οργάνωση, τα κοινωνικά, δημογραφικά, στρατιωτικά χαρακτηριστικά του ΔΣΕ, ενώ φωτίζει και πτυχές λιγότερο γνωστές ή ακόμα και ταμπού. Αν η κυρίαρχη αφήγηση πολλών ετών ή η αίσθηση που έχουμε πολλοί από εμάς γύρω από τον ΔΣΕ κινείται στα όρια του μυθικού ή ηρωικού, το βιβλίο αυτό περιγράφει με ενάργεια, ακρίβεια και τεκμηρίωση την (σκληρή πολλές φορές) πραγματικότητα που απέχει μακράν από τη συνήθη «μυθολογία». Η πιο αντικειμενική και σφαιρική ανάλυση του ΔΣΕ είναι ως φαίνεται πιο εφικτή στις μέρες μας αφενός γιατί η χρονική απόσταση από τα γεγονότα ηρεμεί τα πάθη που συνδέοντα...
