Rocznik „Quaestiones Medii Aevi Novae” powstał w 1994 roku. Redaktorem naczelnym jest prof. dr hab. Stanisław Rosik. Początkowo „Quaestiones” publikowane były wspólnie z wydawnictwem DiG, a od 2003 r. do 2020 r. wraz z „Societas Vistulana”. Do roku 2016 pismo było wydawane we współpracy z Instytutem Historycznym UW. Od 2020 r. wydawcą „Quaestiones” jest Fundacja „Centrum Badań Historycznych”. Dofinansowano ze środków Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego pochodzących z Funduszu Promocji Kultury – państwowego funduszu celowego. Czasopismo Quaestiones Medii Aevi Novae ma charakter międzynarodowy i przyjmuje prace napisane w językach kongresowych (angielski, francuski, niemiecki i włoski).
