QuickGamma Version 4 für Windows 7 oder höher! Ältere Versionen gibt es hier. Was ist neu in QuickGamma Version 4? Was ist QuickGamma? QuickGamma ist ein Werkzeug, mit dem man einen PC-Bildschirm ohne teure Messgeräte schnell und einfach optimal einstellen kann. Warum wird QuickGamma benötigt? Das Verhältnis zwischen dem Eingangssignal und der Helligkeit ist bei Bildschirmen nicht linear, sondern exponentiell mit Gamma als Exponent. Sowohl in Windows, als auch im Internet und in der digitalen Fotografie hat sich ein Gammawert von 2,2 als "de facto" Standard etabliert. Das bedeutet, dass nur bei Bildschirme mit einem Gammawert von 2,2 eine korrekte Darstellung gegeben ist. Obwohl die Gammawerte von Bildschirmen im Vergleich zu früheren Jahren erheblich besser geworden sind, weichen sie immer noch mehr oder weniger vom Standardwert 2,2 ab.
