Batara Guru pun ingin membuat pulau Jawa tetap tinggal di tempatnya dengan memberikan perintah kepada dewa-dewa untuk memotong puncak gunung Mahameru yang berada di India dan segera membawanya menuju ke Pulau Jawa sebagai bahan pemberat agar Pulau Jawa menetap ditempatnya. Setelah para dewa itu berusaha dengan keras akhirnya puncak Mahameru berhasil dipotong dan setelah itu dibawa ke pulau Jawa kemudian diletakkan di Jawa bagian barat. Karena diletakkan disebelah barat Pulau Jawa, kejadian tidak terduga pun terjadi. Puncak Mahameru mengakibatkan pulau Jawa menjadi miring ke arah barat. Karena kejadian...
