I spend far too much of my time as a writer trying to work out what the fuck is going on? How do stories work? Which is why the first notes from the story that became Occupy Midnight are from 2018. I was “working” on a series of stories, all set in the Glasgow area, as is often the case, all featuring witches, as is often the case.
