JJ Ventrella presented Avatar Puppeteering , and Philippe Bossut told us all about the HandsFree3D project , and his work on connecting this 3D camera tracking to the puppeteering feature. Read the Meeting Announcement for more information and bio’s of the presenters Over 70 people showed up, so obviously there is a lot of interest for these technologies. A number of people wanted to know how they could try it, and get involved in helping these technologies to fruition. Therefor I offered to make a puppeering client available, and organize a workshop in the near future. To this purpose I created the group “Avatar Puppeteers”.
