Dear Friends, On September 14th I traveled to Wisconsin and have been here canvassing on behalf of Kamala Harris every day since. When I chose Wisconsin as the swing state in which to volunteer, I didn’t pick Madison or Milwaukee but rather I traveled up to the northeastern region of the state because here lies the Wisconsin Eight Congressional District (WI-8th), which solidly Red for the last 12 years is now uniquely suited to flip Blue. The two factors at play are that the incumbent Republican has resigned from office leaving an undefended seat and equally important is that the Democratic candidate is the brilliant and dynamic Dr. Kristin Lyerly, an OB/GYN.
