CONTACT ABOUT Ruben Quesada Ruben Quesada is the author of Brutal Companion , winner of the Barrow Street Poetry Prize, 2023 Editors’ Choice. Dr. Quesada edited the IPPY Gold Medal Award-winning anthology Latinx Poetics: Essays on the Art of Poetry (University of New Mexico Press). His poetry and prose appear in The New York Times Magazine , Poetry Northwest , Lambda Literary Review , Southern Humanities Review, Harvard Review and elsewhere. A former board member of the National Book Critics Circle, Dr. Quesada is now a Teaching Fellow at the Attic Institute of Arts & Letters. He teaches poetry and literature at Columbia College Chicago, Antioch University’s low-residency MFA in Creative Writing program and the Pan-European MFA Program in Creative Writing.
