Johnston-Saint από την Αθήνα για τον συλλέκτη Henry Wellcome . Το νερό το μάζεψε από το αρχαίο πηγάδι στον ναό του Ασκληπιού στους πρόποδες της Ακρόπολης . Το πηγάδι είναι στρογγυλό και είχε στέγη την οποία στήριζαν τέσσερις κίονες από τους οποίους έχει μείνει μόνο η βάση τους, όπως φαίνεται και στην εικόνα. Στο πηγάδι αυτό κατοικούσαν ιερά φίδια, το σύμβολο του Ασκληπιού. Δείτε που βρίσκεται το πηγάδι εδώ .
