View all responses Lesson learned Not quite a couple of weeks ago, I recognized that I needed to slow my pace on my novel. As soon as I did, I rediscovered how much I enjoy the creative act. How easily the words can flow when I don’t force them to come. That first day, without the frenzied desire to churn out 1,800 words, I spent an hour in discovery.
