Shortly afterwards, I became a disc jockey and spent much of the 70’s in the basement of the Galvez Hotel as the morning DJ on KILE. If you didn’t listen to Vandy Anderson, then you probably listened to me. My wife, Margaret, and I own an historic home on Sealy, and are strong supporters of Galveston’s heritage tourism industry. I’m a frequent contributor to the Galveston Daily News and am currently a member of the city’s Zoning Board of Adjustment. I’ve demonstrated that I’m willing to do the work to help make Galveston a better place to live. I study the issues, attend the meetings, and participate at every level of the process.
