October 24, 2023 sashikaufman Sardines turns one this month and I don’t have to bake any kind of all natural carrot cupcake for a screaming baby and pretend it’s as good as the real thing. This past month I’ve had a chance to share Sardines in some pretty remarkable ways. On October 5th I spent the day at Freeport Middle School as the visiting author. I met with kids who have been reading the book in their Language Arts classes. I got to share with them about the process of bringing a book from the idea phase to the published in your hand phase.
