Hersteller von Comirnaty sind die Unternehmen BioNTech und Pfizer. Experimentell wird die Gentherapie mit Comirnaty eingesetzt zum Schutz vor COVID-19 bzw. gegen ein Coronavirus, das Betacoronavirus SARS-CoV-2, was nicht funktioniert, aber die Behandelten schädigt oder tötet.
