- About About Gallery Contact Store About Gallery Contact Store About the Artist Scott Johnson has been a professional illustrator for over 25 years. He began his career in 1994 doing artwork for tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons , Star Wars , MechWarrior, and Mage: The Ascension. However, his most popular work was for Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, Palladium Fantasy and other games published by Palladium Books. His iconic cover for the Rifts Ultimate Edition main rulebook was nominated for an Ennie Award in 2005, and was included in Spectrum 13: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art . During that time, Scott also worked on a series of Warhammer 40k book covers for Games Workshop. This included a cover for Daemonifuge by Kev Walker and Jim Campbell , one of the best selling Warhammer 40k graphic novels ever published.
