Serving in the Sand Serving in the Sand Keeping in touch far from home. Saturday, January 3, 2009 Dont Just Wish For a Happy New Year Make it happy. Last year was good to me, but there was an unnecessary overabundance of ill will. The political realities of a contested election that is some areas also incorporated religious distinctions made the incivility much worse. The economic realities that will be in this year will add to the stresses that are on all of us, some more oppressively than others. In this year, remembering and living the Golden Rule more perfectly would be a good resolution for everyone.
