शब्दों का सफर skip to main | skip to sidebar Monday, April 3, 2023 ‘नाबाद’ के बहाने ‘बाद’ की बातें रो जमर्रा की भाषा में ऐसे अनेक शब्दों का समावेश रहता है जिनका अक्सर अन्य भाषाओं में अलग तरीके से इस्तेमाल होता है। ऐसे शब्दों के साथ उपसर्ग या प्रत्यय जुड़ने से भी नए शब्द बनते हैं और ये शब्द भी अन्य भाषाओं में लोकप्रिय हो जाते हैं। हिन्दी में क्रिकेट की शब्दावली का एक जाना पहचाना शब्द है नाबाद जिसका अर्थ होता है नॉट आऊट । पारी के समाप्त होने तक अगर कोई खिलाड़ी मैदान में डटा रहता है तो उसे नॉट आऊट यानी नाबाद कहते हैं। हिन्दी में यह शब्द आम है मगर यह आया कहाँ से? नाबाद शब्द का जन्म मराठी की कोख से हुआ है मगर मूलतः यह यौगिक शब्द है और अरबी के बाद (BA’DA) शब्द में हिन्दी फ़ारसी का ना उपसर्ग लगने से बना। हिन्दी शब्दकोशों में इस शब्द की उपस्थिति नहीं है। बा द शब्द का मूल अरबी रूप है ब’अद जिसके मायने हैं दूरस्थ, सुदूरवर्ती, फ़ासले पर, अलग या पृथक आदि। परवर्ती विकास के दौरान इसका अर्थ विस्तार हुआ। दूरस्थ, सुदूरवर्ती या फ़ासले पर जैसे अर्थों में अनंतर, पश्चात जैसे ...
