(This was first written in 2011 and refers to our first trip up Mt Snowdon in Wales. Might make a nice childrens story) Last summer we decided to climb Snowdon. James, my son had climbed it for charity the previous year with his  work mates but I had never been to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain. An early start, a 130 odd mile drive from Staffordshire found us in the car park on a bright summer morning in July 2010. Marianne, my wife took the car to the mountain railway where she would join us at the summit. In good spirits we, James, his girlfriend Katy and I set out along the Miners Track. Pyg and Miners tracks All went well, along past Llyn Llydaw and  Glaslyn up the path where the Miners Track meets the Pyg track before reaching the summit where the view...
