moisten manapkin moisten manapkin Thursday, July 02, 2009 textures i just realized about 3 weeks ago that i now like peaches. they're delicious. i used to like peach-flavored things, but the texture weirded me out, somehow....unless it was in a cobbler. but while pureeing henry some fresh peaches, i decided to take a bite to see how ripe/soft it was -- and yep, they're delicious. texture doesn't bother me at all. this is why i have been fooled into trying olives on several occasions, thinking maybe somehow my tastes have changed, and those horrifying little bastards are now, SOMEHOW, delicious, as well. nope. they are as wretched as ever. and dried apricots will always remind me of how it must feel to bite through the flesh of someone's toe or finger. ...in a good way, i mean. ... posted by maryk at 3:04 PM 4 comments Tuesday, June 16, 2009 stacey bode does it again stacey, henry and i went swimming at the grant park pool last week. henry loved it....
