We encounter ADEs almost every day when we’re on shift in the emergency department, although in many cases it goes unrecognized and we attribute a group of symptoms to a wholly unrelated diagnosis. Over at The SGEM, Ken and I had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Corinne Hohl who has done extensive research in this area, and she provided some excellent insight into the problem of ADEs.
