The (Adopted) Son of Austerlitz The (Adopted) Son of Austerlitz Musings on miniatures and miscellania from Moravia Friday 15 September 2017 WSS - Livgarden til Fods I am just about to start painting the Livgarde til Fods for my reboot of my WSS project but I have a couple of questions that need answering, so I am making this post so I can link the pics to TMP and hopefully get my answers from the hive mind there. Firstly, it appears that the guard did not have the double-breasted jackets that other Danish regiments were issued with, as shown below: I know the first image is of a much earlier period, but it does tally well with the second. Secondly, what was the headgear of the grenadiers? Clarence Harrison has his in bearskin  here  but admits that this is probably not accurate. I can't seem to find any images anywhere...
