Posts Featured October 12, 2024 Steel Fist Cavalry with GW Contrast Paints I just finished up a two quick stands of Steel Fist English Civil War cavalry. The figures were primed with Tamiya Light Gray spray primer. After that I covered the horses with a quick wash of 1:1:2 of Agrax Earthshade / Nuln Oil / Lahman Medium to shade the recesses. The horse colors are Games Workshop Contrast Paints: CP Goregrunta Fur CP Fireslayer Flesh CP Cygor / CP Medium / Water in a 2:2:1 ratio Horse Details Horse feet and muzzles are brushed with CP Basilicanum Grey to darken them. Horse markings are ProAcryl Red Gray followed up by little streaks and dots of ProAcryl Ivory. Manes and tails are CP Black Templar. Blanket trim is ProAcryl Golden Brown.
