Stash Queen Stash Queen Mostly Knitting with Occasional Bursts of Crochet Home February 03, 2016 Very Easy Vest One of my favorite yarn shops is Soper Creek Yarn in Bowmanville.  I often visit it when I'm down south at Mom's, sometimes with my non-knitting friend Jude.  I often knit for her, since she likes interesting designs, is willing to pay for good yarn, and wears colors that are a change for me.  Last year we saw a shop sample which she was very taken with.  It turned out to be an original design, a quick and easy knit calling for only two large balls of James C. Brett Marble Chunky, inexpensive too this time. I won't give away the pattern; visit the shop and buy some yarn for yourself.  But I'd like to show you the interesting the construction. The whole thing is a ribbed rectangle, 2 X 2 at the top and bottom, 1 X 1 in the center back section.
