The meme incorrectly and without warrant identifies fear as the single moral motivator for the theist. This is simply false and the clear implication that theists might well engage in rape, child abuse, and murder if they weren’t afraid is, frankly, poppycock. Theists – like any other well-balanced and socially adjusted citizens – do not engage in such crimes simply because they have no desire to do so. Doing such things just aren’t on the radar.
