Ὁ Ἀπόστολος Παῦλος ζοῦσε τὰ προβλήματα τῶν χριστιανῶν σὰν δικά του προβλήματα. Ἔγραφε: «Τὶς ἀσθενεῖ καὶ οὐκ ἀσθενῶ; Τὶς σκανδαλίζεται καὶ οὐκ ἐγὼ πυροῦμαι; (φλέγομαι)». Ἑπομένως στὶς 10 – 11 κάθε βράδυ συμπροσευχόμαστε μὲ τοὺς γνωστοὺς καὶ ἀγνώστους ἀδελφούς μας ὑπὲρ Θείας Βοηθείας ἑκάστου, κατὰ τὸ γνωστὸ ἢ ἄγνωστο σὲ ἡμᾶς αἴτημά του .
