Scribblin' About Life – Write Here, Right Now Scribblin' About Life Pause November 6th, 2022 Fictober 2022 Prompt #11: “Think! For once!” The way that Dinodas fell out of the sky, arms flailing and high-pitched scream echoing all around us was something I would probably never forget. I’m still not sure if it was deliberate or not, looking at the wyvern as it stretched and folded it’s wing repeatedly, impatience radiating off its body. How Atax had secured this mode of transportation I couldn’t be sure, but it was convenient. Only Dinodas had a problem with it, preferring to have his large feet firmly planted on the ground. It took a lot of coddling from Clovis before he’d even consider the idea, and then a lot of strength from both Atax and Meithorn to even get him on the wyverns back. And then when he slid off, well… “What are you smiling at?” Meithorn, always appearing with no sound, startles me out of my train of thought, bringing me back to the conversation...
