Before the car even stops, they burst out of the back door arms wide, teeth sparkling. Love demands we mimic their movements mirror their joy. We must transform our anxiety into hospitality, our lack into abundance, our vulnerability into armor. We must welcome the grace dumped on our heads unless we want to be ungrateful, cast out, or ugly. It's a dance we've always done since birth or maybe before so with a few cues, we join in.
