Είναι μια αλήθεια κάτου εδώ που τη χτυπάει το μίσος, είν εδώ πέρα μια Ομορφιά που η καταφρόνια δένει, κι είν εδώ πέρα μια Αρετή δειλή και ντροπιασμένη. 'Ω νέοι, ώ πρωτοξύπνητοι στο φώς, χαρές τ΄Απρίλη, από τους πράσινους κορμούς γινοντ' οι άσπροι στύλοι ! Στη χώρα εσείς οι λειτουργοί κι οι λατρευτάδες είστε· δε φτάνει· εμπρός ! για τους Θεούς, ώ νέοι, πολεμείστε. Κωστής Παλαμάς Άγριο κι αν είναι το όραμα καλό είναι το σημάδι.....
