My father is in the Foreign Missions Board of the UPCI. He has about 4 meetings that he attends a year, well use to attend. He was put on the Board about 22years ago. I always picked up my parents from the airport we they came home from meetings, General conferences, etc. One day when I pick them up, he was telling me that all the men were talking about their children. One minister said he had a single son and my dad said that he had a single daughter (this was before I had even met Scott). When my dad said that I was single, the other minister asked what I looked like. My dad’s reply was “They say she looks just like me.” When my dad said that, I almost started crying. They’re reply to that was “How very unfortunate for the poor girl.” Then I really wanted to cry. lol ...
