It has all the wild beauty of the old pre-Christian myths. Unfortunately for Lir’s children, their nine hundred years of journeying carries them from pagan times into the new order, and for them, there is no passing through the door to another life of everlasting summer and laughter. Instead, release from their enchantment leaves them piles of dessicated dust, a grim redemption through death. But what is this site about? The story of the children of Lir doesn’t have to end in wasted lives and anachronism.
