Deseori neajunsurile și deficiențele sociale sunt puse pe seama sistemului educațional, este nevoie să investim mai mult acolo, spun unii. Cu cît mă gîndesc mai mult la acest subiect, cu atît mă conving că totul începe mai devreme, cu educația parentală. Sunt voci care spun că la 8 ani harta mecanismelor psihice este formată deja. Aceasta înseamnă că pentru tot restul vieții, foarte mulți dintre noi urmează inconștient modele de comportament și reacții formate în copilăria timpurie. Cu alte cuvinte, răspunsurile la întrebările de ce reacționăm într-un fel sau altul la autoritate, de ce urmăm anumite modele de viață, de ce ne fac fericiți/nefericiți anumite lucruri și nu altele se află în ceea ce am îmbibat în primii ani de viață.
