Dar, pentru ca ne dorim sa avem un ambient placut in fiecare incapere din locuinta un rol important il va avea montarea unui termostat ambiental, acesta permitand reglarea temperaturii furnizate de o centrala termica intr-o incapere. Termostatul ambiental exista pe piata in mai multe variante, astfel, poate fi mecanic sau electronic, cu afisaj digital, poate fi wireless sau cu fir, poate fi neprogramabil, programabil sau smart. Fiecare tip de termostat are avantajele si dezavantajele sale. Termostatul ambiental este un dispozitiv sensibil la variatiile de temperatura din locuinta.
