The Owl Underground Skip to content The Owl Underground A Very Strange Dream Written 6 August and sat in “drafts” for a week: The Venclexta has my sleep cycle all screwed up. This morning, I took my “empty stomach meds” at 9:00 o’clock. I was still groggy so I rolled over and went back to sleep until 11:00 o’clock. My alarm woke me up out of a very strange, almost “plot of a Twilight Zone episode” dream. In the dream, I was in my twenties (which I haven’t been for a while!) In some miraculous way, I found this little fetus sort of thing that grew into a little girl of about 6 or 7. She had dark hair in long corkscrew curls, and had dark eyes. She was dressed in a little white frock like little girls wore in the 1880’s. She was a pretty little girl in a “ tintype photo ” sort of way, and she had something to do with the German side of my mother’s family. Her name was Maria Anna Teufelsburg, and we knew who she was in relation to that segment of mother’s family, ...
