Student teaching has really gotten the best of me and turned me into an old lady. It is past my bedtime as we speak. Pretty soon I'll be yelling at kids to get off my non-existent lawn, collecting things with lace on them and raising an army of pet rats (I can be the crazy cat lady in this apartment). I am officially taking over the block 1 class Tuesday morning, so I thought it would be a good time to announce my hiatus. I feel like I'm taking a sabbatical to try out the real world for a while. I will try to be back once in a while and don't worry, I will always be spreading the book love. I even added a book talk once a week to both of the 10th grade classes. Some of them like it and some hate it but they have to suffer because it makes me happy. I got another fantastic award and will do a post on that...
