The first time it landed it was among Thelemites in the Bubastis Oasis in Dallas, Texas. Thelemites follow the religion invented by Aleister Crowley. These are sorcerers if there be any meaning to the word. Magi, if you will. Some aspect of the vast world of occult concepts in the ceremonial magick of Thelema was described as ineffable by a colleague.
