I met the Denver Trail Runners group at the Elk Meadow park trailhead in Evergreen. The snow was fresh and the sun was out! My legs were tired and my neck was still burnt from yesterday’s long run in Boulder. We started at 8am and I was the only one out of about 10 that wore shorts but, it warned up fast! We went up Bergen peak and did a solid 10 mile loop in the snow. It was a stunning bluebird day with excellent views from the top. We could see Pikes Peak all the way down by the springs perfectly.
