I am currently working as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer on 3D Perception, Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms at Apple. I received my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Karlsruhe’s Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2011 and my M.Sc. in Robotics, Systems and Control from ETH Zurich in 2014. During my graduate studies, I was accepted to JPL’s Visiting Student Researchers Program (JVSRP) where I worked on robust vision-based navigation at NASA-JPL. In 2015, I enrolled as a Ph.D. student at ETH Zurich’s Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL) and successfully defended my Dissertation in August 2020. Until the end of April 2021, I continued my research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Autonomous Systems Lab before joining Apple in May 2021.
