The school data is extracted from the United States Board of Geographic Names . TRI is self reported data. With a GPS it should be quite easy for facilities to provide the correct longitude and latitude, but some still do not. We have geocoded those facilities without locational data so that 100% of facilities reporting releases in 2013 are represented on our maps.
