Η Β. ήταν όμορφη κοπέλα και καμάρι του χωριού της, όπου η πλειοψηφία των συνομήλικων κοριτσιών ασχολούνταν με τις παντρειές και τις γεωργικές εργασίες. Για τα δεδομένα της μικρής κοινωνίας των διακοσίων κατοίκων, από την οποία προερχόταν, θεωρούνταν αναμφίβολα πρωτοπόρα.
