Sunday, August 27, 2023 Year Review 2022 In 2022 , I recorded 551 garden species, beating last year's record-breaking total by five, something I didn't think would be achievable. There were 292 Macros (the same as 2021 ) and 259 Micros, the most I've ever recorded! As always, a big thanks to Andy and Melissa Banthorpe for their continued hard work with VC30 moths, especially for all the Gen dets. Recording days/Trap nights: 226 ( +4 on 2021 ) Records: 5795 (- 608 on 2021 ) The year ended with an all time garden total of 876 species.
