An opportunity to use that fingering weight wool, perhaps some of your sock yarn, sport weight yarn or DK weight. Materials: For a sport weight yarn: About 50-100 g (200-400 yards) depending on what size you would like. Needles : 6 mm (US 10). Gauge (not important): 10 sts = 5 cm (2 inches) in pattern. Use bigger needles than the yarn usually calls for. Skill level: Easy Note : This will make an (unblocked) width of about 13 cm (about 5 inches).
